What is the Learner Portal?

The Learner Portal is the interactive environment where participants engage with your course or campaign. It is accessed whenever a learner clicks a link in an email or SMS message prompting them to continue their journey.

Accessing Learner Portal Settings

Navigate to Main Menu > Campaigns > Campaign Settings > Learner Portal to configure:

Leaderboard visibility

  • Portal sections

  • Completion order settings

  • Course access based on tags

  • Sort order for multiple courses

  • Branding & theme customization

Key Learner Portal Settings

1. Leaderboard Visibility

Enable a Leaderboard to encourage friendly competition among participants.

Best for:

  • Courses with incentives or gamification.

  • Competitive training programs.

Hide Leaderboard if:

  • Content includes sensitive information (e.g., compliance training).

  • The course is self-reflective or non-competitive.

2. Portal Sections

  • Organize training content into sections (e.g., “Onboarding” or “Compliance Training”).

  • Acts as a roadmap to guide learners through a structured learning experience.

3. Lock Completion Order

  • Enforce linear progression so lessons must be completed in order.

  • Ideal for structured learning programs or compliance training.

  • Leave unlocked if learners should access any lesson at any time.

4. Show Campaign If Tagged With

  • Automatically grant access to a course without requiring sign-ups.

  • Use tags to determine which contacts can see the course in their portal.

Example:

  • Learners with the "Leadership Training" tag automatically see the course in their portal.

5. Sort Order in Portal

  • Control the order of courses when learners have access to multiple campaigns.

  • Ensures learners complete prerequisite content first before moving forward.

Customizing the Learner Portal (Branding & Theme)

You can also customize the Learner Portal to match your company's branding and colors.

Navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Other Settings > Portal Design and Branding.

From here, you can:

  • Select a light or dark theme.

  • Set a color for your portal.

  • Upload your company logo.

  • Upload an open graph image for the portal.

  • Upload an icon image.
