Registration & Confirmations
Step 1: Access Registration & Confirmation Settings
Navigate to Main Menu > Campaigns > Registration & Confirmation.
Locate the welcome text message field.
Step 2: Customize Your Message
Keep the message short (under 160 characters) to avoid text fragmentation.
Use placeholders (e.g., {contact.first_name}) to personalize the message.
Include {{url}} to create a direct link to the learner’s portal.
Learn more about using placeholders >>
Step 3: Save and Send
If the contact's mobile number is available, the system will send an SMS message first.
If the text fails to deliver, ConveYour will automatically send an email instead.
What if I don’t want to send a text?
To disable the welcome text, delete all text from the welcome text field.
If both text and email fields are empty, no automated message will be sent.
Alternative: Use an automation to schedule and customize a welcome message.

Sending a Welcome Email
Step 1: Set Up the Email Notification
In Main Menu > Campaigns > Registration & Confirmation, locate the welcome email section.
Enter a subject line (avoid spam-trigger words like “new” or excessive punctuation).
Add custom body text to the email message.
Add images or branding elements as needed.
Include a link to the learner’s portal ({{url}}) so they can access the course.
