Track processes, sales leads, recruitment workflows, and more using ConveYour Contact Boards!
Contact Boards function similarly to Kanban boards in project management tools like Trello or Asana. They are noted for their versatility.

Potential uses for Contact Boards in ConveYour:

  • Organize Reps: Sort contacts by fields such as hiring status, onboarding progress, or other custom criteria.

  • Mass Update: Quickly update the status of contacts in a pipeline.

Getting Started with Boards

Contact Boards are built around custom fields that you define in your settings. Follow these steps to set up and use boards:

1. Create a Custom Field

  • In Settings, add a custom field related to the process or phase you want to track (e.g., "Status" or "Pipeline Stage").

  • Decide who can view and edit the field. For example:

    • Admins: Full editing permissions.

    • Guests: View-only permissions.

  • Add drop-down values for each step or phase of your process (e.g., New Hire, Paperwork Complete, Onboarded).

Once the custom fields are set up:

  • Select the custom field in the View By panel on the left side of the screen.

  • Further refine your view by limiting the scope to a specific group.

3. Use the Board to Organize Contacts

Drag and Drop: Move contact cards to update their status or phase in the process.

Automating Status Updates

ConveYour allows you to dynamically update contact statuses using the "Update a Contact Profile" lesson item in Campaigns or onboarding courses.

You can add this lesson as a final "hidden" step within an onboarding course, or you can make it dependent on the completion of a specific question for the final onboarding lesson.

The lesson item you need to use is Update Learner Profile

Ensure that in Settings, you have a custom Field Type called "Status" . For that field type, you need to also ensure that you have a drop-down list of status values (i.e. New Hire, Signed, Paperwork Complete, Onboarded etc.) When you type in your Field Value while setting up this lesson item, it must be and exact match to your status value, and remember it it case sensitive.
