The Hashtag Method allows participants to sign up for your ConveYour campaign by sending a text message with a designated hashtag. This is especially useful for:

  • Live events (speakers, performances, workshops).

  • Follow-up courses after an in-person or virtual session.

  • Easily testing your campaign from the learner’s perspective.

How to Set Up a Hashtag Sign-Up

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Campaigns > Campaign Settings > Invite Tools.

  2. Locate the "Sign Up Hashtag" section.Creating a sign up hashtag in ConveYour.

  3. Choose a simple, one-word hashtag (avoid spaces. Hyphens are allowed).

  4. Ensure your welcome messages are set up in Campaign Settings > Registration & Confirmation.

How the Hashtag Method Works

Example Scenario

  • You’re a speaker at an event and want attendees to stay engaged post-event.

  • You display:
    "Text #JoinUs to [Your ConveYour Number] to sign up!"

  • Attendees text the hashtag, and they:

    • Receive an automatic confirmation message.

    • Get a direct link to the campaign portal.

    • Are added to your contact list for follow-ups.

What If They Make a Mistake?

If someone texts the wrong hashtag but uses your ConveYour number, the SMS Catch-All feature will:
