How to Add a Video Lesson in ConveYour

Step 1: Add a Video Lesson Item

  1. Navigate to the Main Menu, select your Lesson and navigate to the Content section.

  2. Drag and drop the Video Lesson Item into your Lesson Canvas.

  3. Paste the video’s sharing URL (YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Vidyard, etc.).

  • Showcase Video by Itself

    • Select this option if you want the video to appear on its own page without additional content.

  • Group with Other Content

    • Leave this option unchecked if you want the video to be displayed alongside other content, such as text, audio, or downloadable files.

  • Must Watch – Select this option if learners must watch the video to complete the lesson.

  • Custom Start & Stop Range – If only a portion of the video is relevant:

    1. Enable the start/stop time feature.

    2. Select the start time (when the video should begin).

    3. Select the stop time (when the video should end).

Step 4: Organize Content Sections (Optional)

  • If adding additional text, files, or buttons, you can choose whether each content item:

    • Starts a new section (appears separately).

    • Is grouped with the previous section (keeps content together).

  • Note: Interactive engagement formats (e.g., questions, challenges, polls, and assessments) are always placed in their own section automatically.
